Senior Project Associate - External Affairs, Africa Health Business
Dr. Brigit Mulwa serves as a Senior Project Associate – External Affairs at Africa Health Business (AHB). In this role, she leads stakeholder engagement, stakeholder convening, and supports the implementation of high-impact health projects across Africa. Brigit plays a pivotal role in planning and executing flagship initiatives such as the Africa Health Business Symposium, while fostering strategic partnerships and advocating for stronger, more resilient health systems across the continent.
Professional Background and Experience
With a strong foundation in pharmacy, health systems strengthening, and external affairs, Dr. Mulwa brings several years of experience working with both public and private health stakeholders. Her expertise spans digital health, policy development, project management, and strategic communication.
Brigit began her journey at AHB as an intern with the Coalition for Women’s Health Africa (COWHA), where she supported projects in cancer care, sexual and reproductive health, and maternal and newborn health. She later worked with the Pharmaceutical Society of Kenya (PSK), where she managed initiatives related to antimicrobial resistance under the CwPAMS2 Grant. Her additional experience in digital health marketing and health advocacy has contributed to meaningful and scalable health interventions across Africa.
