I am a medical doctor and public health specialist from Kenya with over nine years of experience in clinical care, health systems management, and health financing. I hold a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from Kenyatta University and a Master of Public Health from the University of Nairobi.

I have worked across public, private, and faith-based healthcare settings, gaining experience in general practice, emergency medicine, and intensive care. Throughout my career, I have taken on leadership roles including Accident and Emergency Coordinator, Doctors’ Coordinator, and member of hospital management and quality assurance teams, where I contributed to strengthening clinical governance, infection prevention, and quality management systems.

Currently, I serve as a Principal Claims Management Officer at the Social Health Authority, where I focus on improving health financing systems, strengthening claims management processes, and enhancing accountability and efficiency through digital health platforms. I am also a trained internal auditor in Quality Management Systems and have participated in initiatives aimed at improving healthcare delivery and oversight.

My professional interests lie in health systems strengthening, policy, and research, with a particular focus on outbreak prediction models, neonatal health, and antimicrobial resistance in sub-Saharan Africa. In addition, I am involved in health consultancy, supporting the establishment of neonatal critical care services and broader public health interventions.
