pioneer class of Bachelor of Medicine and

Bachelor of Surgery at Kenyatta

University School of Medicine.

Recipient of the inaugural Dr. Henry and

Viola Kirkland International

Humanitarian Award given in

Oklahoma, USA.

The first neurosurgeon employed and

working for the Nairobi County

Government currently based at Mbagathi

County Hospital in Nairobi.

A trustee of the Africa Prayer Breakfast

Trust; that organizes the annual Kenya

National Prayer Breakfast in partnership

with the Kenyan Parliament.

I have over seventeen years of experience

leading and working closely with the

youth. Served as the overall school

captain at Agoro Sare high school in

Homabay County.

Attained mean grade of ‘A Plain’ in the

Kenya Certificate of Secondary

Education examinations while also

emerging as the first student overall in the

then Karachuonyo District. This

provided the opportunity to gain

admission at Kenyatta University School

of Medicine.

Served as the chair of the Association of

Kenyan students in Alexandria Egypt.

During undergraduate studies, served as

the chair of the Electoral Commission of

the Association of Medical Students and

President of Kenyatta University

Students Association that had over

74,000 members.

Was elected National convener of the

Kenya University Students Organization

leading a partnership with the media,

Kenya Private Sector Alliance, Kenya

Vision 2030 amongst others towards the

realization of the first ever Kenyan

Electoral Presidential Debate.

Served as the Chairperson of the building

and investment committee of Kenyatta

University SDA Group. In this capacity

mobilized resources towards the building

of a new church that was officially

opened in September 2014.

Served as the Country leader – Kenya

from 2012 to 2013 in the All Africa

Students and Youth Union

headquartered in Ghana.

Founding trustee of the Africa Youth

Leadership Forum, an organization that

promotes leadership values among

university student leaders and organizes

their attendance at the National Prayer

Breakfasts in Kenya, Uganda, United

States of America and Burundi.

Apart from being a highly skilled medical

doctor with good surgical skills, my

strengths lie in fundraising, coordinating

events, and Public speaking. I often lead

motivational talks in high schools and

universities towards mentoring emerging

leaders.

Completed a one-year medical officer

internship placement at Kiambu District

Hospital.

Worked for a year at Mbagathi District

Hospital before joining Pumwani

Maternity Hospital for 2 years.

I was then promoted to Medical Officer

In-charge of Kibera South Health Centre,

heading the facility located in Lang’ata

Sub County; that serves majorly the

underprivileged population of Kibera

slums.

In September 2018, I started my master

of medicine in neurosurgery

specialization at Alexandria University

Faculty of Medicine and graduated in

November 2023.

I was then posted to Mbagathi County

hospital where I currently serve as the

only neurosurgeon employed by Nairobi

City County.
