Jackie is a trained Biochemist and business executive, with experience in health education, business development, strategic management, key account management, brand elevation and people leadership. Her focus on delivering business and people growth is driven by passion to contribute to resilient health systems. She functions very well at the inflection points of innovation, ideation and collaborative action.

Her experience in the healthcare space spans over 18 years, with assignments ranging from clinical research, project and business management in medical imaging, and more recently commercial and marketing roles in the IVD industry. 

These roles within Philips, General Electric, BioMerieux and QIAGEN, have been vast in scope as well as impact, within the context of Africa and beyond. She currently serves as the Head of Sales for the HID portfolio at QIAGEN, for EEMEA region. 

She is the founder of Ndoto Kamili, an entity focused on mentorship and enterprise development of young people, with a focus on young women in entrepreneurship and STEM. She also has interest in various volunteer activities. She is a recent TWG advisory member with the National Cancer Control Program, at the Ministry of Health, in Kenya.

She holds degrees in clinical biochemistry (B.Sc., M.Sc.) and professional qualifications in leadership, strategy and governance. She is an avid reader and an amateur writer. She loves to discover Africa and its treasure through food, culture, literature and music.
