Brian Deaver is the Chief Executive Officer of the African Medical Centre of Excellence (AMCE) in Abuja, Nigeria. With over 30 years of experience in healthcare leadership across the U.S. and Africa. At AMCE, he leads the development of a $300 million, 500-bed world-class hospital in partnership with Afreximbank and King’s College Hospital, London. Under his leadership, AMCE is pioneering advanced cancer care, diagnostic imaging, and training programs, including launching West Africa’s first 18 MeV cyclotron. He is also a strong advocate for reversing Africa’s medical tourism by expanding access to high-quality, affordable care across the continent.
