Preparation of an Investment Memorandum and Successful Sale of a Level 4 Private Hospital in Kenya
With in house experience and expertise in management and sale of hospitals, AHB has successfully supported a client in the sale of a level 4 private hospital.
AHB provided in-depth reviews and fine tuning of existing documents provided by the hospital, including operational and financial analysis of the last four financial years and undertook a SWOT analysis that was used to complete the Investment Memorandum (IM). The team also prepared pitch documents for the client, created a pipeline list of potential investors (other hospitals, private equity and investment funds), provided matching sessions between the investors and hospitals owners and facilitated deal negotiations. AHB also engaged with principal shareholders on realistic alignment of goals and outcomes of the financial transaction.
With the development of the appropriate business insights and documentation, the hospital ownership has successfully sold the hospital to an investment firm.
